Ask yourself the following:

  • Does your company already have a human factors program in place?   

  • Can employees can self identify as needing help?

  • For high risk tasks, are human factors automatically accounted for before the job is started? 

  • Can supervisors impute a value for known distractions into their work area human factors risk score?  

  • How are human factor risks communicated with effected employees?

  • Are human factors risks currently tracked and mitigated?

  • What method is used by frontline employees to communicate hazards in the work area?
