This dashboard shows OSHA violation citations by the number of fines and the cost.



Top 2 Charts

 

The top two charts show the number of citations and total cost of citations from January 1, 2018, to September 1, 2022. The current trend is a decline in the number of citations issued over this time period.


The current penalty is the amount the company has to pay after negotiations with OSHA/the court. Serious and Repeat violations make up most of the fines for the companies on the in highest dollar amount charts. These categories of violations usually come with hefty penalties.

The bottom left two charts show the top 8 companies with the highest number of citations and the top 7 companies fined over $1M in 2021.


USPS, Dollar Tree, and Dollar General were the top 3 companies with the highest number of citations.


Dollar General, Dollar Tree, and General Aluminum Manufacturing were the top 3 companies with the highest dollar amount

The bottom left two charts show the top 7 companies with the highest number of citations and the top 4 companies fined over $1M as of September 1st, 2022.


USPS, Dollar Tree, and the City of New Britain were the top 3 companies that have the highest number of citations so far this year.


Dollar General, Dollar Tree, and ALJ Home Improvement were the top 3 companies with the highest dollar amount
