Ask yourself the following:

  • Is your company regulated or have very specific tasks it must accomplish?

  • How are these tasks currently defined and administered?

  • What is the frequency of these requirements and how do you manage that timeline?

  • Would you define company requirements as being paper based or web based? 

  • How do you verify completion and how often are you receiving this information?

  • Are you alerted if a required task isn't completed?

  • If a policy change is 40 pages long how many Managers on your team take the time to read it?

  • How many retain the information?

  • Most important, how many will act on it? And how will you know?
